The Do’s & Don’ts of Discipline
The Do’s & Don’ts of Discipline was created to give educators a simple but solid ”bottom line” approach to behavior management for the classroom. Dennis believes that we can build positive relationships with our students while holding them accountable for their behavioral choices. Dennis Mitchell founded IGN Consulting – Behavior Solutionsfor educators and parents, in 1991, and now is based in the Dallas Texas area. IGN - Behavior Solutions has developed several programs to assist school districts put behavior management programs in place. We believe in training not only your teachers and administrators but anyone that has daily contact with our students.
Dennis has trained para-professionals, bus drivers, security officers, cafeteria workers and computer technology technicians.
Our programs have been implemented in all types of schools. The programs are designed for K - 12. We have implemented our programs in large urban schools, small rural schools and career tech schools throughout several states.
Dennis has worked extensively with PTA/PTO groups as well as many church parent groups. Whether in school or in the home, effective discipline is effective discipline. Because of the positive approach to this program it helps parents hold their children accountable for their behavioral choices without negatively impacting the relationship.
